Business support and funding at Northampton’s new, monthly drop in surgeries

January 2017: Drop in surgeries for people working on Brackmills have been scheduled for 2018 – with staff invited to learn more about funding, business support and the benefits of being based on the estate.

Brackmills Business Improvement District (BID) has teamed up with the Northamptonshire Growth Hub and University of Northampton to run monthly, two-hour, drop in sessions.

The venue for all the events will be Costa Coffee on Brackmills Trade Park, with the first three set to take place on:

Friday 26th January 2018, 12.30pm-2.30pm

Friday 23rd February 2018, 10am-12noon

Friday 23rd March 2018, 10am-12noon

Sara Homer, Executive Chair of Brackmills BID, said: “As Brackmills continues to expand, attract new and growing businesses and generate more jobs for local people we are keen to make sure we keep talking to people working on our estate – to support business growth, individual development and make sure everyone knows about our status as a thriving Business Improvement District, which brings with it a host of advantages and opportunities.

“That is why we are kickstarting the New Year with these drop-in surgeries. Staff from across the estate are invited to pop in, have a coffee, a chat and find out all the different ways we can help.”

Charlotte Patrick added: “I will join Sara at all the drop-ins to promote the Growth Hub’s funding and support streams, as well as University opportunities that include everything from expertise and students to placements, facilities and funding.”

If you are interested in attending one or more of the Brackmills Support & Information Surgeries simply pop into Costa Coffee at any time during the two hour slot. To find out more you can email Chris.barker@brackmillsindustrialestate.co.uk.
