The business community of Northamptonshire gathered on a cold winter's morning, late this November at the NLive Radio Station located at the University of Northampton, to sing Band Aid in hope to raise as much money as possible for Northampton based charity, KidsAid.
KidsAid provide therapeutic support to children and young people to help them overcome traumatic events such as family breakdown, bereavement, domestic violence or abuse and/or neglect.
Sadly, the rise of child cruelty and neglect in Northamptonshire is higher than the national average. A shocking 20,000 cases of child cruelty and neglect were recorded by Police in the UK in 2018/19. This is why All Things Business are reaching out to the business community of Northamptonshire to help save children's lives this Christmas.
An incredibly generous first donation of £1000.00 has been received from Local Solicitors Firm Wilson Browne Solicitors.
You may have heard of Kevin the Singing Solicitor. He paid a visit to the studio to record a solo as well as being involved in the group chorus. So keep an eye out for him!
The team at All Things Business are incredibly thankful for this generous donation to kick start their KidsAid Christmas charity campaign. The money will go towards Play Therapy, Art Therapy and Drama Therapy, as well as Protective Behaviours work and Child/Adult Relationship Counselling.
NLive Station Manager, Martin Steers said: "It's a great pleasure for NLive to be involved and play host to the singers and project, it's fantastic to help raise money for such a great cause"
If you are not able to donate, please show your support by liking, commenting and sharing the post on All Things Business social media platforms using #MAD4Northants.
Every penny raised will go towards changing a child's life on your doorstep.
A huge thank you to everyone involved!
