Andrew and Amanda Pryor and their daughter Darcey (19) moved into their new three-bedroom home at Bellway’s Border Park earlier this year and have been enjoying the novelty of owning a new property since.
The family had previously been renting a three-bedroom property in Bedford.
Andrew (48) said: “From customer service to the quality of build, there are many advantages that come with home ownership, and on top of that, the experience has been much better.
“One of my favourite things about buying new is the choice factor, as we’ve had the option to personalise every room, which has enabled us to make some lovely touches to the home.”
The Pryors were keen to find a home with a garage when they started house-hunting but found the prices of homes with garages in Bedford were more expensive than they had anticipated.
Andrew said: “It was very important to us to find a property with a garage this time around for good storage and for the jobs I like to carry out.
“The prices for a standard three-bedroom property with a garage in Bedford had been slightly higher than we’d hoped for, but when we came across Border Park in Raunds, we thought the garage and the value for the quality and space provided was fantastic.”
“The house was already built on purchase, which enabled us to move in good time, and everything fell into place from there.
“The development is also brilliantly landscaped and there’s a great community at the site.
“Overall, we’re very happy with our new home and I would highly recommend buying with Bellway.”
Bellway is also building new homes at The Beeches at Stanton Cross in Wellingborough, Brampton Gate in Brampton and Eastcotts Green in Shortstown.
