Nestled in the Northamptonshire countryside, Rushton Hall is steeped in history. It was built by Sir William Tresham who was Master at arms to Henry V at the battle of Agincourt in 1415. It has been host to a number of famous guests throughout its history. From Charles Dickens in the 1850’s to General Eisenhower in the Second World War. In more modern times Rushton Hall has welcomed some well-known film stars such as Hugh Jackman, Helena Bonham-Carter and Russell Crowe amongst others.
Christmas is a magical time at Rushton Hall with the log fires burning, the decorations up and several large Christmas trees lit up and filling the rooms with the scent of Christmas. You can stay at Rushton Hall on a three day package, just relax and enjoy a really traditional Christmas in the grandest of settings. It is becoming a tradition for several guests who book to come every year.
Christmas parties have always been popular at Rushton Hall and this year they are going to be even more spectacular than ever. They are held every Friday and Saturday throughout December and there are still some spaces available on selected dates. After 11 years in the planning and 2 years building, The Orangery at Rushton Hall is now open. It has cost well over £7 million to build and since opening at the end of July visitors are all agreeing that that it has been worth every penny.
Tom Gilbert, Sales & Marketing Manager at Rushton Hall said “We are really looking forward to this year’s Christmas parties. Being such a grand building we can accommodate more than twice as many guests than previous years but we have already sold out several of our dates.”
