Growing partnerships for the 18/19 season will see dbfb continue to expand on their position as Northampton Town Football Club’s Official Communications Partner. dbfb already manage the club’s mobile and connectivity – this year brings an exciting opportunity for dbfb to take on IT support for both the back-office and matchdays.

All device users, be it laptop, tablet or PC will have a single number to call for all issues, with day-to-day support being provided remotely as dbfb have invested in a market leading monitoring facility out of their Northampton Head Office. The Network Operations Centre (NOC) ensures dbfb consistently deliver outstanding service levels to their customers. Including; real-time monitoring, managing alert notifications, analysing data, performance and service availability. This crucial part of their business is running 24/7 to ensure your services are performing at their optimum capability. dbfb will also be helping the club shape its long-term IT strategy with a real focus on commercial opportunities, fan engagement and hospitality to help drive revenues for the club.

"One of the deciding factors in choosing dbfb for our business-critical IT is their ability to offer us vital match day support. It is incredibly important for us to know we have support 24/7. What really stood out for us was their approach, they challenged us to think differently about IT. Previously, IT was thought of as a resource whereas now we truly believe it can be an enabler to drive revenue growth for us. dbfb have been partners of the club for some time now so we know the support is there and, like the club, they are heavily involved in supporting and giving back to the local community,” said Commercial Director of NTFC, Caroline Lucy.

Additionally, dbfb will this season become the Official Development Team Sponsor with branding appearing on the Academy kits and around key parts of the stadium.

Head of Academy Recruitment, Darren Norton added; "We are proud of the young players in our Academy and this support from dbfb will help us enormously.

"We are extremely grateful to them for their backing at this time. We have seen a number of players come through the system to join the first team squad over the last few years and we hope there are more to come. The support of dbfb will certainly help us bring these players through."

Managing Director of dbfb, Simon Pickering, adds: “Our decision to become the club's Development Team sponsor was simple. We have, and continue to employ, Graduates fresh from University and young individuals with big potential and ambition. We really want to develop youth and help to bring through the next generation. Therefore, we feel very passionate about our decision to support the Northampton Town Development Teams.”

“Over the years we have had many opportunities arise from working closely with NTFC. We have built business relationships through direct referrals from the leadership team at NTFC and also had the opportunity to network with local businesses when attending match day hospitality and ultimately, won business through our association with the club. We’re optimistic about the season ahead, both on and off the pitch.”
