Local engineering companies are being encouraged to get behind the inaugural East Midlands Engineering Expo, which takes place on Wednesday 23rd October at Kettering Conference Centre.
The event, which will showcase a wide range of businesses in the electrical, mechanical and construction sectors, is expected to attract hundreds of visitors from the East Midlands and beyond. It will begin with a networking breakfast, which is sponsored by All Things Business magazine, from 7.30am to 9am. The doors to the expo will open at 9.30am and close at 4.30pm.
Throughout the day, those who attend will get the chance to meet new faces in their industry, from potential clients to contractors and consultants, and hear from a selection of expert speakers. Kerry Bate of Polka Dot Events Management is organising the event in association with Craig Dobbs and Liam Bond of Dobbs & Bond in Earls Barton.
“This event is a real opportunity for Northants businesses in the electrical, mechanical and construction sectors,” said Kerry. “Quite often expos for these sectors are held in large cities so involve a lot of travel time and the logistics of transporting exhibition stands across the country.
“To have the East Midlands Engineering Expo happening in Northamptonshire is a real coup for the county and I would encourage local businesses to get behind it and book a stand space. Aside from making sure it is a success and will return, exhibitors can also expect to meet lots of valuable industry contacts, get tickets to the networking breakfast and a listing on the event website.”
Stand spaces start at £249 + VAT. For more information, see
