Jackson Grundy, an estate agency with twelve sales and lettings offices all over Northamptonshire, is celebrating a successful year for its Village Agency arm of the business.

The Village Agency operates out of the company’s flagship Northampton town centre branch, which moved from Bridge Street to a prestigious location on St Giles Square last year. It specialises in selling luxury properties with a market value of more than £400,000.

The team at The Village Agency is made up of Branch Manager Angela, Sales Negotiator Alex and Administrator Julie who work together to create a bespoke service for their clients. This includes accompanying prospective buyers to each and every viewing and pulling together glossy A4 brochures, premium online listings and large advertising profiles in the Northampton Chronicle and Echo and Daventry Express newspapers.

Angela says: “We recognise that buying a property of this type is likely to be the largest investment our clients ever make and those decisions can’t be taken lightly. We use a combination of traditional values and modern marketing methods to showcase our properties and build lasting relationships with our sellers. We also conduct a telephone conversation with any potential buyers first to try to ensure a good match before arranging a viewing.

“Our clients work with the same three people from instruction to completion and we guide them every step of the way, listening to their individual needs and desires from the need for more downstairs living space right through to stables and swimming pools. Our team has a wealth of experience and knowledge it can call upon to deliver a truly tailored service.”

The Village Agency was launched in 2000 and has gone from strength to strength, with last year being one of its best years to date. This looks set to continue in 2019.

“We’re feeling very positive about 2019,” reveals Angela. “Whilst Brexit is casting a shadow over a lot of businesses and industries this year, we’re quietly confident that we won’t be massively affected. People will still want to buy and sell houses here in Northamptonshire.”

Whilst the The Village Agency has been operating since 2000, Jackson Grundy itself celebrates 25 years in business this year.

Starting in 1994 in Duston, the company now has branches across the county including Northampton town centre, Moulton, Daventry, Abington, Kingsthorpe, Weston Favell, Kingsley, Roade and Long Buckby. It even opened a Marbella branch three years ago.

“Knowing that we have been trading for almost 25 years gives our clients peace of mind and they know that their property is safe in our hands,” adds Angela. “We were one of the first estate agents to create floor plans and are always looking to move with the times but still stay true to those traditional values of looking after our customers, listening to what they want from us and making it happen. Lots of our properties are sold via Instagram, videos and open days now and we are always looking to evolve and provide an even better service for those looking to buy or sell their property.”
