A highly experienced business expert has been welcomed to the Northampton office of financial and business advisers Grant Thornton, taking on the role of a Growth Adviser within the firm’s specialist growth support service.
Jimmy Mark joins Grant Thornton’s award winning Growth 365 team and will draw on his extensive knowledge of the business world, built over more than 30 years, to mentor dynamic local companies towards their full potential.
Throughout his career, Jimmy has held various senior management positions, predominately in the food sector working for industry leading suppliers to the major UK retailers. During this time, Jimmy used his strong operational skills and keen commercial focus to proactively grow the businesses he led.
In his new position with Grant Thornton, Jimmy joins the Growth 365 team of experienced Growth Advisers, technical specialists and analysts who provide tailored, one-to-one support to ambitious mid-sized businesses across all sectors. As part of the Growth 365 offering, clients can also join a community of like-minded companies who meet at interactive events and workshops to share experiences, learn and grow.
Commenting on his appointment, Jimmy Mark said: “Having worked in industry for over three decades I wanted to channel the knowledge, experience and lessons I have learned along the way into helping other businesses progress on their growth journeys.
“Although my background is in the food sector, many aspects of business are equally applicable to all companies, irrespective of the area they operate in.
