Car firm changes direction with launch of a dedicated Business division

Broad Green Motors of Wellingborough is marking its 10 years of business at the site with a series of exciting changes.

The car dealership, which operated predominately as a Peugeot dealer, is expanding its range of services with the introduction of a personal and commercial leasing arm called Easi-Lease.

A joint venture between Broad Green and Grosvenor Leasing of Kettering, Easi-Lease will be based at the Broad Green site on St Johns Street in Wellingborough and offer affordable vehicle leasing options to small businesses, catering for sole traders, contractors and those with small fleets.

Both Broad Green and Easi-Lease will be managed on a day to day basis by the same customer-focused team who have been a permanent fixture at the dealership for the last five years. This is made up of General Manager Richard Reynolds, Sales Manager James Nixon and sales team Zakk Hill and Ben Lee-Smith.

Richard said: “We are really excited as we enter this new phase for Broad Green. Many people don’t realise that Broad Green was already owned by The Grosvenor Group so we have worked together for years and have a fantastic working relationship.

“As a company, Grosvenor has been operating for more than 30 years and knows everything there is to know about vehicle leasing. Together we recognised a gap in the market for smaller businesses who wanted to lease single vehicles and we wanted to make leasing easy for them. We can also lease vehicles for personal use too. With Easi-Lease we have the knowledge and backing of Grosvenor and can offer the personal, bespoke approach to customers we have become known for at Broad Green to ensure we find the right leasing agreement for them.”

Broad Green will continue to sell Peugeot vehicles from its showroom but will add to the offering with a range of other makes and models, including new and used cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs). It will also continue to provide MOTs, car services and repairs from its workshop.

Easi-Lease was officially established in April and the Broad Green team is in the process of creating a dedicated Easi-Lease office on site, which should be ready by the end of August.

Richard believes that what will make Easi-Lease appealing and different from other vehicle leasing companies is two-fold – they can cater for the smaller end of the market and they have a physical premises with real people customers can talk to.

“Most vehicle leasing companies these days have no physical premises. Everything is done over the phone or online. With us we have purposely tried to make leasing easier and more accessible. We have a friendly, knowledgeable team on hand who can talk through the various options, budgets and vehicles with a customer and find the right leasing solution for them that gives them a different, better way of getting a new car every three years.

“We are also deliberately open for longer hours to enable people to pop in and see us at the end of their working day for a chat without the rush.”
