New Headteacher for Quinton House School

Mr Tim Hoyle has been announced as the new Headteacher at Quinton House School, starting in September 2017.

Mr Hoyle joins the School from Cognita Group school, Huddersfield Grammar School, a coeducational school for 3 to 16 year olds, where he has been Headteacher for six years and established an enviable track record of academic achievement and school development.

Mr Hoyle is excited to be working together with the team of dedicated, talented and hardworking members of staff in order to provide the highest possible standard of education for all children at Quinton House School.

“My vision for Quinton House School is that the school will strive to maintain the highest possible standards of academic progress and achievement, within a caring and supportive environment, whilst providing a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities to meet the needs of all children”.

Mr Hoyle brings a wealth of experience to Quinton House School having a strong track record as a teacher delivering exceptional academic outcomes and as a school leader taking a role in all aspects of school life. Having studied for a degree in Physical Education and History at Loughborough University, and completed his training at the Carnegie College, Mr Hoyle taught in a comprehensive school in Luton before being appointed a Head of Department at the independent Birkdale School, Sheffield. Four years later he joined Warwick School, rising to become Deputy Head before going on to become Headteacher at Huddersfield Grammar School. Throughout his career, he has been driven by a desire to promote and support the development of the talents, skills and interests in all children.

Having visited the school many times now in preparation for his appointment, Mr Hoyle is particularly looking forward to the prospect of working with talented, enthusiastic and motivated young people within the beautiful surroundings of Quinton House to provide a dynamic, exciting and challenging education for all.
