New Year – Recruitment Week

The employed population have a few things in common at this time of year. Most notably, the majority bemoaned returning to their mundane working routine in January. You probably wouldn’t be too far away on the assumption that many have considered a fresh start and new career in 2017 either.

After successfully completing their inaugural ‘Recruitment Open Day’ in 2017, Mick George Ltd have gone one better this time around, extending the opportunity to three prospective dates in which the office doors will be open for job seekers to visit.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday 23rd Jan (6pm-8pm), Thurs 25th Jan (6pm 8pm) and Saturday 27th Jan (8am-12pm) respectively, at Mick George Ltd, 6 Lancaster Way, Ermine Business Park, Huntingdon, PE29 6XU.

Departmental Managers will at hand on each occasion to chat through any discussion points that may arise, whilst office tours provide the perfect opportunity for prospective employees to get a real feel for the environment from which the business centrally operates.

As with everything at Mick George Ltd, their dynamic nature expands to events such as this. It’s not a case of attending, to wait months on end and never hear anything. The business is seeking to offer on the spot positions to suitable candidates. A tactic that benefitted more than ten people last time around, with Careers being offered.

A whole variety of vacancies right across the board will be showcased, from the standard departmental functions which include; marketing, finance, customer services, sales and many others, to those that are more bespoke to the Transport, waste management and construction industries, such as plant operators, drivers, site managers and workshop technicians.

Having consistently experienced significant expansion over recent times, the organisation has doubled in size, now recruiting more than 1,000 local ,people and posting some impressive financial results along the way, that doesn’t show any sign of diminishing.
