Last Thursday, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) held their annual ‘Marketing Excellence Awards’ ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House. JBH triumphed over some stellar competition, including social media giant Facebook.
The Marketing Excellence Award Ceremony, hosted by Katherine Ryan, saw marketeers from across the world celebrate the industry and witness exceptional campaigns that helped shape conversation over the past 12 months.
The campaign featured sketches starring ‘Mandem on the Wall’ (The Wall of Comedy). The short-form videos were released via the Wall of Comedy’s Facebook page. During the campaign, the videos received more than 6,000 post engagements, a combined reach of 3 million and a 140% boost to service sign-ups.
The huge increase in sign-ups for the employment charity helped to deliver a successful start to the project. Through this success, Yes LDN were able to gain further funding to help young people from ethnic minorities find work placements.
The ‘Three men on a wall’ campaign was up against strong competition, including: De Montfort University, Facebook, The National Gallery, Boost Energy Drinks and Filippo Berio.
The CIM’s Marketing Excellence Awards are an annual event created to highlight and celebrate excellence within the field. The nominees were from many different sectors and organisations, including: charities, education and consumer.

After a successful 2017, JBH believe this latest award will help them to grow the agency in 2018. They're currently recruiting and believe the recent success will attract more talented people to join their team.
