Push the reset button at Overstone Park

Overstone Golf Club

The New Year can be a great time to push the reset button with many of us setting new goals for the 12 months ahead.

Are you someone who has made resolutions to improve their fitness and lose weight in 2017? If you have, Overstone Park may be just the place to help you achieve those goals.

Located on the rural outskirts of Northampton, Overstone Park is set in 198 acres of rolling countryside. It provides an oasis right on the town’s doorstep. Originally opened by Olympic swimmer, Sharron Davies MBE, in 1994, the club has grown to offer a wide range of facilities for all age groups and families.

Well known for its stunning golf course, Overstone Park is also home to an extensive range of leisure facilities. Having recently undergone a full refurbishment, there is a state of the art air conditioned gym, two fitness studios and two outdoor tennis courts. These facilities are accompanied by a dedicated fitness team, who between them run over 50 fitness classes per week, ranging from the high intensity Zumba classes to relaxing Yoga sessions.

“All of our fitness team are incredibly committed, friendly and supportive and we often see social groups being formed by members of our fitness classes which is good to see.”

So what makes Overstone Park different to other gyms in the local area? The club is set in idyllic surroundings and can be easily accessed from surrounding towns and villages. New members receive a full initial assessment from an experienced member of the fitness team, plus a full induction and fitness programme which is tailored to suit bespoke needs. Fitness staff also offer monthly reviews, free of charge, to ensure members are undertaking the right activities to meet their health and fitness goals.

“We like to make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome.” says Pete Goddard, Membership and Marketing Manager at Overtone Park. “All of our fitness team are incredibly committed, friendly and supportive and we often see social groups being formed by members of our fitness classes which is good to see.”

For those with more of an enthusiasm for golf they can give their clubs a try on the 18 hole par 72 championship course, which has recently played host to the Northamptonshire County Championships. A dedicated team of green keepers work tirelessly on the course, meaning there is no use of winter tees or greens during the colder months we are in now.

Overstone Park are currently providing some exciting membership offers on both golf and leisure facilities, which you can find out more about by calling or emailing membership services on 01604 647666 or membership@overstonepark.com.

If you are looking to transform your health and fitness this year, with truly bespoke support which will help you on your journey taking place in the stunning Northamptonshire countryside, Overstone Park is for you.
