Managing Director of STORM, Sam Bendall explained: “I began the STORM journey in 2016 from a 2-man serviced office in Milton Keynes, 3 years later STORM has 9 employees and work out of amazing office space in Warren Park which has room for our continued growth”.
“Choosing Milton Keynes as a home for STORM was an easy decision for me, I have lived just outside Milton Keynes for the last 11 years and have been working in Milton Keynes for more than 20 years, I have also built a great network of connections here and I believe Milton Keynes is a great central hub to continue our growth.
Sam has been in the print industry for 23 years. Starting out as a sales executive and working her way up to become sales director, enjoying success in both UK and International market before setting up STORM.
Sam took the rewarding leap to create STORM just 13 months after her second child was born, “most would say I was mad but with the support of my husband, loyal customers and years of experience under my belt I decided the time was right” said Sam.
Sam was very quickly able to get some key industry players to buy into her business model and put faith in her business plan, including some of the world’s leading manufacturers and finance houses including Xerox, Konica Minolta, BNP Paribas and Siemens Financial Service’s to name a few.
These partnerships allowed STORM to quickly deliver value-based printing and copying solutions to over 300 companies both nationally and internationally.
STORM have a desire to grow their local presence and already works with major brands and key players in the Milton Keynes community.
MK Dons work very closely with STORM and this year the business has increased the level of sponsorship to ‘Partner’ level - supplying the stadium and hotel with all their photocopying, printing, franking and wide format equipment whilst supporting the partnership with a tailored service support agreement along with print management software and consumables.
The partnership will be focused on streamlining, optimising and reducing the costs of the MK Dons office and IT operations, so the club can redirect important spend and funds on to other areas to help with its growth.
MK Chairman, Pete Winkleman commented: “Over the last ten years we have continually sought to develop the infrastructure of the Club to ensure that we are equipped for growth. STORM help us to streamline and improve our office functions to ensure we have the highest quality administration.”
